Pardini vs Rink Grip for K12

Post by brooks58 »

I’m needing a medium grip for a used K12. It came with a small grip which fits ok with exception of the palm shelf which is too short from front to back. It’s to short to support the heel. The small grip on my Morini 84E fits perfect and the volume is thicker than the medium rink grip on my Benelli. Even the small Pardini volume is a little thicker than the medium Rink. I’d look into a Morini grip; however, the K12 isn’t listed as being available yet only K2 etc...

So, can those of you that purchased Rink grips for your Pardini please provide your thoughts between the two?

Thank you,

Grips are very personal so it is difficult to advise, but for me the Med Pardini was just too full but the Rink small fitted well apart from not being long enough at the back similar to what you experience. I made up and glued pieces of wood onto the rear of the shelf and the grip. All shaped to perfection and taking great care not to infringe rules. I used hot melt glue to stick them on so that it is easy to remove and to remove if ever I need to, to remove remaining glue use a hot air gun and a cotton rag to absorb the glue and wipe it off. Do the simple thing first and try extending your grip, I've done the same on my Morini Titan with a small Rink grip and that works well too.
