New Benelli sportpistol rumors?
I have heard some rumors that Benelli will release a new sportpistol model.Have someone maybe more info?

They never sold more than a few dozen of the old ones. Why would they bother?

Gee, that means between my own two and the 23 the team I help coach shoots, we must have almost all of them...
Before he passed away, I spoke with Larry Carter about Benelli pistols. He said the factory is heavily focused on making shotguns, and that he had to plead with them every year to continue (occasionally) making the pistols. Now that he is gone, I don't know what will happen to them.
Unless they've had a sudden change of heart/management, I would be very surprised if Benelli would make the investment to come out with a new pistol. I really love mine, and would be very interested if they did.
