Morini 162 EI Grips

Post by Richathome »

Are Morini grips interchangeable between the Morini Short 162 EI right hand and the Morini 162 EI long right hand pistol? I realize the electronics of left and right grips are not interchangeable.
Thanks Rich

Thank you David. I have 2 Morini grips I intend to post on BST. That saved me some possible grief if they were not. Thanks again Rich

Yes
From memory, don't you have to alter the top back section of the grip to allow for the extended sight carrier?

Yes. I mistakenly bought a "long" grip for a short pistol. I had to do some significant wood work so it would clear the rear sight in the back.

The sight extension is removable to make it the same as a long.

Ashort has a short tank, short barrel and a rear sight extension.
Difference in the grips is the sight extension.

Not directly, they mount the same but the short has a extend rear sight while the long does not
