My IZH 35M which I have been shooting since 2001 has come down with a problem. The trigger reset isn't working, it fires normally, but you have to push the trigger forward to enable another shot.
The gun is remarkably accurate, and I just love it, but I don't feel capable of diagnosing and fixing the problem. Does anyone know a gunsmith knowledgeable and capable on these models? Appreciate any assistance.
Thanks H Richard

Re: IZH 35M repair
Richard. There is a little spring that pushes the trigger forward. If you hold the gun with the trigger guard up it is on the left side and just hooks around the frame. Check and see if you can see it. If it has come unhooked you can reach it with a dental pick, or some other hook tool, and put it back into position. I had the same problem and that was the fix. Good luck... Sam
Re: IZH 35M repair
Hi Richard, sorry for my late respond but I had this exact same issue and it was my Walther KSP grip making contact with trigger bar on the left side.
Try to dry fire without grip and see if the trigger resets every time. Shaving off little from the grip took care of it.
