UNIQUE DES 69 sights

Post by JFuller »

Went to local fun shoot today but when I tried to adjust the elev screw from it's usual six-o-clock in the 4 ring I found that I no longer have any clicks so must have finally lost the tiny ball inside.
Can anyone tell me how many clicks there are on each turn of the screw, then at least I will have some idea again how much 1/4 turn will move the impact. @ 25m

8 clicks elevation = 1 full revolution.

Therefore, 1/4 full turn = 2 clicks.

You're welcome. :D

Likewise good sir. :-)

So, what's your solution, now that the ball detent which holds the elevation adjustment screws in place is gone ?

Blue loc-tite + Silver or Gold Sharpie ? :-D

I'm curious to know...

I think my wife has already found her nail polish in my range box, but might have to get her to buy my own "gold"

Greetings,

I had to replace the little ball in my rear sight. Fortunately, the little spring did not get lost.

If you need a spare ball, let me know and I will mail you one.

I purchased a bag of them as the Unique builders were quite fond on "clicks" on most all the screws.

Cheers,

Dave
