Just a reminder that we hold an air pistol match every 2nd Saturday of every month in Baton Rouge, LA., at our club's outdoor range at the State Fairgrounds. It's free, and everyone is welcome. 40 shots 10 Meter and 40 shots Silhouette, scored separately, then with Silhouette scores multiplied by ten, both are added together for an overall score, so 3 ways to do well. Silhouette is divided into Open Iron Sight, and Red Dot and Scope divisions. We start right after a morning Field Target match, usually right around 11:00 a.m., so plenty of time for out-of-towners to make it, or if you have a rifle and want to shoot some FT as well, come early. We are somewhat relaxed on rules, especially time limits, because our main goal is to have fun. The level of competition ranges from pure beginners to two 4-H kids who are nationally ranked and are regulars at Fort Benning, so no matter your skill level, you'll feel at home.
