Agreed. Cheaper pellets (including RWS Hobby) have visible pieces of swarf that can fall down the transfer port in my rifle. They also jam under the loading probe.Leadbelly wrote:My only comment is I have found cheap pellets were NOT very CLEAN.

It's no biggie, put the pellets in a plastic strainer, wash them out, dry them and add a couple drops of oil. They come out spanking clean...TenMetrePeter wrote:Agreed.
