My father passed away last week. I was going though his guns. He has a Hammerli Olympia 22 short. Bad part is the pistol is missing the extractor, plunger and spring. The gun is in excellent shape except he sanded down the grips to fit him. Its pretty neat it has a compensator flush with the barrel and haven"t found one like it. Ill post pictures when I get a chance. I called Larrys guns and they don't have the parts to repair it. Anyone have any idea of where to get what I need? thank

You may want to testfire it a bit before getting too exercised about the extractor. In the 1970s and 80s it was often the case that the extractor was the cause of jams, many guns worked just fine without one and even became more reliable. Of course this was in the cool dry mountain air so it may be different in other areas, but my modified Margolins always ran better without the extractor.

Thanks I will try that. Pics added if anyone has more info about this pistol.

I had a prototype Unique that worked that way. It was great unless you had a misfire.
