Possible Pistol glove?

Post by Xman »

The thin fabric at the rear of the glove looks like it offer no support to the wrist.

Is the rule for pistol wrist must not be covered? or cannot have support from a glove?

There are some gloves designed for shooting free pistol in the cold that (at least at one time) were given the OK. They were made by Arnie Vitarbo's wife. They were a polar fleece sack that went over the hand & pistol, with a knit cuff. I believe Arnie got an official ruling on them, but I have no idea if the current rules/officials would allow them.

8.7.1 ...The wrist must be visibly free of support.
8.12. (50m Pistol) ...Hand covers will be permitted, providing they do not cover the wrist.

Recently I've been thinking something like this would be nice now that my garage is fairly chilly.

Is there anything like it currently available?
