ISSF Rule clarification.

In 10M pistol competition, is there are prohibition on wearing a shooting glove (something like a thin leather golf glove). I looked through the rules, but did not find anything definitive.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

No problem Provided that it doesn't cover the wrist.

Part of 8.7.1, "The wrist must be visibly free of support."

Does that same ruling also apply to 25m. and 50m. ISSF events ?

Yes.

In addition you are allowed hand covers for 50m, again providing that they don't cover he wrist.

Just as a matter of explanation. As with any grip, there are days when they fit your hand better than others. Weather, temperature and your own hudration all have an influence. I have found on those days when your hand just does not feel right on the grip that a thin leather glove works wonders. I wimply cut off the trigger finger, so that the trigger sensation remains the same.

2/3 of th index finger. The rest of the glove stays.
