I purchased a Steyr LP50 a month ago and it has been shooting great. I have put about 600 rds through it. The other day right in the middle of my practice session it went fully automatic on me. Nothing had been changed or tampered with, I had shot 20 rds and the next magazine of 5 shots went automatic and stayed that way. Has anyone heard of this happening or the cause? I am getting ready to send it to Pilkington Competititon for repair unless someone has heard of a simple fix for the problem. I don't think there will be a "simple fix" but it is worth asking. Any input will be appreciated.
Thanks, Wayne

Re: Steyr LP50
I assume you pulled the trigger for the first shot and it went full auto? or did it go full auto when you inserted the magazine?
This usually happens when it's out of adjustment (rare). I researched this when I bought my LP50 and found that it was very rare (usually when someone adjusted it incorrectly) and could be solved with the proper adjustments. I've put over 5,000 pellets through mine and have had no issues.
