Here's a bunch of photos of disassembled TOZ Free Pistols. Particularly note the spring replacements made with paper clips. (Sure worked for me, and they're free!)

Re: TOZ stuff
This one is Daryl Szarenski' right? Anyone know the story behind the Axe stamp? What's Igor up to these days? Has he done with Military Service?
Re: TOZ stuff
This seems like a good place to ask: What's a reasonable price for a used TOZ-35? I'll be in the market for one after I sell a few pieces. Also, are there any other options for beginners at 50m?

Re: TOZ stuff
You may be able to scare up a Pardini GP75 someplace. I was never able to shoot anything else as well.
Re: TOZ stuff
Value depends. Pretty hard to go wrong with a TOZ imho.
PGP-75 are nice also. I would expect them to go for a similar price.
I find anything else hard to recommend at that pricepoint.
CM84E commands a significant premium, but is also a nice gun.

Re: TOZ stuff
Price wise TOZ's have gone up in the last year or two. Expect to pay at least $600 for one with a grip you can actually hold. There are a decent number for sale with the uncraved grips for $700-$800 (which I think is ridiculous) currently.
Don't think of them as beginners pistols either, one took home bronze at the last world championships if I recall correctly. There is really no beginners pistol in free pistol, any purpose built free pistol is likely to be able to shoot a 600 in a rest. There are certainly more expensive and fancier (or should I say feature rich) pistols out there, but the TOZ is certainly capable of shooting world record scores if it's shot by someone with world record skills.
