You're right on both counts!

Nice work! Does it work?

Are you going to send me one?

My TOZ has a long carriage bolt screwed into a hole I drilled and epoxied into the forend. Works well.

It certainly moves a lot of air. It's first test shot produced a nice cloud of aluminium shavings upwards through the ports. But you're on-point in noticing that the biggest benefit is to move some additional weight forward of the trigger. Nicely rebalances the gun.

And I'm planning on driving out to visit you guys for the match on the 21st. You can shoot with it then if you want (if it fits on your gun. Damn Tozs all have different dimensions.)

Hi Rover, I was positioned next to Sean at the last Free Pistol match at Prado, a couple of weeks ago. In addition

to functioning perfectly, He mentioned that it stayed very clean, not clogging up like many Morini shooters report

with their new style Morini compensators. I've been lucky I guess; my Morini compensator has been free of the

reported clogging I've read about.

Rover is wrong.

Darn right you can buy a better score. I just scored a new to me Morini 162EI. I expect at least a 10 point bump on my current personal best. I will be seeing you at the range Roger, you bring that pump job you just got and we will have at it.

That's nice, George. I'd love one myself, but that won't stop me from sending you home in tears.

Now you can sell your other gun(s) to the losers at the club.

BTW I'll be out Bambi-blasting this weekend.
