Need Help with FWB 65 Main Spring

Post by storck »

Hi all,

It's my first time here so sorry if I post in the wrong section. I have an old Feinwerkbau 65 air pistol after my father who passed years ago. The seal is falling apart and I ordered a repair kit including the main spring as well. I have found an excellent strip down guide by Mark Cones. The thing is that I get stuck at removing the rear sight. After removing the windage adjustment knob I'm stuck since the guide doesn't seem to fit my model, or maybe I just don't understand it correctly.

Found the guide here: http://lincs-hft-club.co.uk/index.php?/ ... own-guide/

If anyone has any tips I would be very greatful. I include a couple of pictures of my gun and what it looks like in the current state.

Best Regards,

Ake Storck, Sweden

PM me and I will send you a strip down guide that I wrote when I did exactly what you are about to do about 18 months ago. Wrote it for myself if I had to revisit the process in the future but added to it later to help others understand it too.

Best cheers
george
