What's the special part?

That Don Nygord could make a silk purse out of a sow's ear?

Or is it another chance to beat your drum over the fact that it was an SSP? Does it matter to you that when Don performed this magic act there were NO CO2 or PCP pistols? Nah! Why let a little context get in the way of making your tired, old point?

I guess you just missed the posts about guys with 717s, etc., looking for a little help. I actually know a couple of guys using them.

I believe a more descriptive thread title would help in finding the information you linked to.

At this point, you, William, and 134 other checked it out. Just nosy, I guess.

You're right; I just haven't figured out how to change the title.

My mother gave my brother one for Xmas many moons ago after asking me if he'd like it. He used it a lot, but the most fun thing he would do with it was shoot running mice in his hunting cabin. He later bought a Pardini P10, but never competed (he was a police academy shooting instructor).

Did the mice note the difference?

Shooting mice with the air pistol is fun. Shooting rats and hornets is too. In my experience they don't notice the difference between a daisy 747, a crossman 760, or a Steyr LP10. I do think, though, that you need less light with the LP10 due to the adjustable width of the rear sight.
