Sako Triace

Post by shadow »

What is it like to shoot a Triace in 22LR? Is it similar to s 208S or AW93? Is it a desirable or undesirable pistol? Are parts available?

I just shot my newly acquired TriAce .22 for the first time on Saturday.

I was very pleasantly surprised - very smooth, excellent recoil recovery. Better than the 208S in this record.

Very well-made gun, the magazines are of industrial strength quality. Because of the quality, I believe they cost more to make than Sako were selling them for, hence they weren't a commercial success for them...

Most parts are available ex-factory, and I have an order currently underway for consumables like extractors etc. at the moment, via by local dealer and the Australian Sako distributor.
