Question about non functioning fwb 300s

Post by james87 »

Hey guys, here is the deal. I got a couple 300s's from the pilk sale. Got JM springs and seals for them. Well, one of them has an issue. After 20 shots or so (happened 3 times now), while cocking it, the piston will slam into the compression cylinder, the piston seal comes out, and the cocking arm/compression cylinder is stuck in place. So I have to disassemble again, and put a rubber cushion in the breech so nothing breaks when it slams home. It will slam home once I pull the trigger group out.everything is assembled correctly, and the spacers on the large bolt in the back are installed. Everything is tight. Any ideas? I'm afraid it will break something if jt keeps happening. It shoots great for those 18-25 shots before it happens, it's a tack driver. Thanks for any help, I am 100% stuck on what's wrong.

Contact Scott or Buck. I'm sure they could help you understand the problem.
