Hello,
I've got an issue with the rear sight of a TOZ-35M, which is canted to the right - appearing higher on the left than on the right while keeping the frame vertical.
It seems like that part #000.029 (the "sight leaf", #80 in the exploded view), which holds the sight, is lightly twisted lenghtwise.
Has anyone encountered the same problem? Have you got any advice on how to straighten the leaf, instead of filing the sight down to horizontal (something I'd like to avoid)? Can I try to twist it in the opposite direction through heating or is something risky/ineffective?
Thank you.

I would apply heat---don't use acetylene,, ordinary propane will do. Get a brass hammer and a small flat metallic surface and use judcicious whacks on the sight that should work---if not then a pair of strong pliers will work as well. This Russky technology is crude and can stand the abuse. These guns were used to install barbed wire during the week and a Free Pistol match on the weekend. "Doc"
