Are there any MG5 owners out there who can help me? I bought an MG5 a few years ago and it's never functioned properly. After sending parts back and forth to Italy a few times I finally gave up. After a 2 year rest I'm going to try again to get it functioning. At this point it's just an expensive curio taking up space in my safe.
In addition to a "failure to fire" problem, when it does fire the cases rupture at the extractor location. It would be a great help if someone could email me a picture of their chamber so I could see how the extractor is supposed to look relative to the breech face and chamber wall.
I'm going to bump the 2 year old thread outlining the problem to the top.
