With the recent shortages of reloading components, I can't find Nosler or Zero 185 gr JHPs for sale anywhere. Does anyone have a jacketed substitute to try that's actually in stock somewhere?
Thanks,
-John

If I were you I would buy whatever I could find. All high quality JHPs should be adequate for the long line.
If you have a Kart barrel in your gun, you might try lead. I personally like the Zero 185 LHPs but anyone elses work well too.
I've had very good results with the Remington 185 grain jacketed SWC bullets. They don't seem to be available, though. Same goes for the Hornady 185 gr JSWC: good bullets but hard to find now.
If plain cast or swaged lead bullets aren't an option for you, you might try coated bullets. The 185 grain SWC bullets that Precision Bullets used to make were excellent and I'd guess that their 200 grain SWC bullets are worth a shot.
