Sagara,

There is a very slight thickness addition in the "crotch of your thumb" area, but it is only .075 thicker than the stock grips. There is about 1/2 inch between the frame of the gun and that area, so yes, you could move your hand forward, but only slightly.

Ok guys,

After I post this, I plan to put something on the 'for sale' forum. As I do not have a huge inventory of these, I will have to take orders for them. Left handed versions will also be available. Thanks to all for your input and suggestions.

Im still doing a little dremmeling here and there a year or so after buy LH grips for my Izzy. There are terrific.

I love mine. THe little drum sander attachment for the dremmel works great both for removing material, and for blending surfaces.

I have a set of these grips, but want to try some changes on another set, so is it still possible to obtain a set. G-mail messed up my address book and I no longer have the maker's address.
