Trailside "Slide Bite" Questions

Post by bbh791 »

Has anyone tried the beavertail attachment for the Trailside that can be purchased from Larry's Guns? I am using Nill grips and get a little bit of slide bite. Thanks to all.

No to your question. But on 208s and 41, I have used a small flap of soft leather as a beavertail hot glued to the gun. It lays out over the web of hand about 1/2 inch.

It works great. It did take a little filing but its works very well. I have mild arthritis in my right thumb and I was getting bit so bad I was afraid to pull the trigger. Not anymore.

Excellent pictures! Just what I was looking for. How is it installed? Did you use some type of glue? Thank you very much.
