Competition Pistols - Gunsmiths - By Brand

Post by shadow »

Has anyone ever compiled a list of target grade pistols and the logical gunsmith by brand?

For example, we all know that Larry Carter is the go to guy for Hammerlis.

Which gunsmith would be the first call for:

Feinwerkbau
Walther
Pardini
Morini
Matchguns
etc.

Then there are individual companies and gunsmiths like:

Dave Salyer
Roddy Toyota
Ed Masaki
Chambers Custom Pistols
David Sams
Bob Marvel
Dave Wilson (Walther Barrels)
Travis Frerking
Rock River Arms
Springfield Armory

I am sure many of us can come up with alot more names.

For Feinwerkbau, try Tod Utter
I was very happy with his work on my AW-93.

706-647-5941

Also for Hammerlis, RoCo Systems
Doris, and Roland, show up at Camp Perry every year, and will professionally clean and lube your gun for a very reasonable fee.

I've had our host do work on my Morini and FWB. I think that www.pilkguns.com can probably handle just about any of the ones you mention.

For Benelli, it's Larry's Guns.

Ditto for Rink grips.

Pilkington for Steyr.
