WTB Service Pistol Grips

Post by GCSInc »

I need a set of Service Pistol legal grips. What I have now would not pass inspection. Are the Hogue single slab (not wrap around) grips legal? They look like they are thin enough and there is not a palm swell.

Also, What / Where is the best action spring pack to get? From the Blog, It looks like I'd need everything from 10 - 20# to find the right one for a given 230 gn load.

Thanks,

Roy

Roy, the grips can not be more than 1.3 inches installed on the pistol. If you have a caliper you can determine that. Recoil spring depends on MANY things, mainspring weight, lock up on barrel, bushing fit. For a 230 gr jacketed HB load I would start at 16 pounds and work from there depending on the pistol.
