Hi,
Is there a limitation on the number of EIC matches one can shoot in a year?
Thanks.

EIC Match Limits
The answer is: it depends.
For civilians, if you ARE Distnguished, no. If you are not Distinguished you may fire in three EIC matches per year plus the National Trophy Individual match.
The CMP rule book covers this. It's a free download.
For military personnel see the governing document from your service. It is important because your service may, probably does, have limits on what you can achieve in civilian matches.

On the Army side, you can currently shoot 2 civilian EIC matches but they have to be a makeup for a military match that has already taken place. In other words until an eligible military match takes place during the calendar year, you can't shoot a civilian one and earn points. It doesn't matter whether you intended to shoot the military match or not. I would expect Air Force to be similar but don't know for sure.
U. S. Air Force EIC Instruction
The governing document for the US Air Force is AIR FORCE INSTRUCTION 34-227. I got my copy from the internet. It limits AF personnel to two civilian matches per year.Orion wrote:I already consulted the CMP Rulebook.
Where can I get the governing document for the USAF?
Would the Eastern CMP Games be considered as a military match?
Please advise,
Thanks.
The CMP Matches are not military matches.
