Any places to shoot 10M air pistol & silhouette in Atlan

CMP/Anniston, AL has open shooting every week too. A bit of a drive, but you really couldn't ask for more out of an AP range. Well, higher benches ~ I think they were designed for someone under 5'

All Junior only though. It's unfortunate that the Ole Mill Range only has 1 event that has an open class for those of us over the age of 20. But then again, that's par for the course around here and makes 2 ranges the same distance from me (about an hour ~ Ft Benning being the other) that have a grand total of 1 yearly event where I can shoot.

Are there Any ranges in GA that welcome adults and have 10m?


Meanwhile, I'm seriously considering a 6 hour, one way drive to Charleston to shoot in a match there because of the total lack of options closer to home.

It's the "chicken or the egg" discussion. If we have more people asking for Pistol Competition, we'd certainly hold more. As you know there are only about 30 - 35 people shooting 10m Air Pistol in the whole state of Georgia.

If you can get 5 or more Air Pistol Shooters interested, we'll hold regular matches and spend more time and energy (it'll move up the priority list) on an Air Pistol Program. Right now we have two certified Pistol Coach and only 1 kid shooting.
