I use 20x, but that is because my old fixed power scope is 20x. And based on the image that I see 20x is about as high as I would go. In fact 15x might be easier to use. If you get a zoom w a 15x low end like these you should be OK

BUT...be aware that many scopes will NOT focus down to 10 meters. And the specs don't say what the min focus distance is.
According to the Burris web site, both the above scopes focus down to 13ft, so they should be fine.

Jon ... Gary is correct in that many scopes will not focus to 10m.
I'd also recommend that you get one with a 45° eyepiece as especially in standing you can get the scope a bit further from you.
You don't need a lot of optical power to see the 10m bulls 10X-15X is more than enough ... in fact most of my kids use about 12X so that they can see both targets (AR-5/10s) side by side.
Champions Shooters Supply has a 12-36X (S-C50A) @$95 that we use as it has a "no-fault" warranty where if a scope is busted, you can send it back w/$20 and get it replaced ... great for youth programs (ask me how I know) ... Our kids use the 36X easily on 50yd events, and those with better eyes than mine can use them at 100
Champions Choice has another $95 scope (CC542) that is 12-50X (use the 50X when you shoot 100yd)
Both of the above go down to 10m easy
Roy McClain (Search for user GCSinc) has posted some scopes that are sold thru the Ol' Mill range that are similar.
