Front Sight Aperture

Hey,
I am a junior shooter with a competition score of 530 and practice score of 543. I currently use a 3.2 mm aperture on my daisy 887. From what I have been reading, many people seem to recommend larger apertures. I should also say I have great vision (20/15) if that matters. Even in standing I have no problem keeping the bull inside the aperture, but thought I would get your input.

What is the distance from your eye to the front aperture?
