Crossman 167 Pellgun

Post by kopskoot »

Hi All

I have taken a very old Crossman C02 out of hibernation, but seals are leaking. Managed to strip all down to basics, except that I am left with the lower tube and what I think should be the valve assembly. I can get no further as there is a large pin that holds rest together with a spring loaded pin in place preventing me from removing the rest. Any advice on how to proceed further please.

you should ask this on yellowforum.com

They would be more likely to know what to do about this and who to send to.

Another site you can try is the Vintage American Airgun Forum, in many ways its much better than the Yellow Forum, give it a try, here is the link:

Thanks Pilkguns & Tony C, I managed to sort the problem out myself, the pin is threaded and simply unscrews, now I have access to the valve and seals. I do need some more advice though and will follow your suggestions in as far as other sites are concerned.

Regards
