Broken High Standard mag base

Post by jr_roosa »

I dropped the mag from my high standard today and the base plate shattered. It's a Hamden vintage mad with a hybrid base...the bottom of the mag is a steel plate and the red plastic piece sticks into it with two posts.

Any idea where I could get one of these? Anybody have a broken mag with one of these bases that you could part with? Brownells only has complete mags.

I might just glue it back on.

Very sad day.

I have made several of the bottoms out of other material It's not that hard and cuts pins for the holes and glued it all back together I don't think crazy glue will stay a long time. I use an epoxy
