Looking for Anschutz LG 380 part-buffer

Post by justadude »

I also asked this question in buy sell trade so if it looks likey you have seen it before, you have.

I am looking for a Anschutz part# 380-25 buffer for an LG 380 air rifle.

Anyone know where I might find one? This is the last part I need to get my 380 servicable again.

I have called the ususal suspects and they all say there are none and Anschutz does not have or supply any parts for the 380 anymore.

While it would be ideal to get a factory part the other option would be: Does anyone know what the material for the buffer is? If I knew the material a little trial and error and I might be able to get one turned out on a lathe.

Thanks

Sorry it took me so long to respond. Gary Steele at B&B Supply in Minneapolis Minn. USA (612-724-5230) can make seals and bumpers....he can also do the rebuild of the 380 if you like. It has been several years; but I asked the same question of him so this was true say 2-3yrs ago. His seals are VERY good quality...I use them on other rifles and they are better than factory.

Wow- Thanks.

I have been collecting parts for this one for about a year. Spring here, seal there and am down to the buffer.

This is great, thanks for the input. I will give Gary a call, probably Monday when the world gets back to semi-normal.

Cheers

Try http://www.waffencenter-gotha.de/ he is a well known source of rare older parts. Its not shown on his website for the 380 but he has much more not shown so is worth an e mail.
