2010 California Indoor Free Pistol State Championship

Post by Forrest C. »

The Palo Alto Rod and Gun Club is once again hosting the indoor free pistol state championship. The match will run for one day with two relays, so sign up soon to get a spot on the firing line. For those new to free pistol, all that is required to compete is a .22 lr pistol whose grip does not cover the wrist. For those of you searching for the perfect free pistol, now is the time to shoot a match and ask people about their guns. You just might learn that valuable bit of information to help you decide between Toz or Morini.

Below you will find the match program and entry fee. From the matches I've attended this past year, I can tell you the standard of free pistol is on the rise in California, and you can bet the best of the best will be attending this event. Sign up today and see if you have what it takes to be a champion of California!

For those who are still deciding whether to shoot or not, we will be raffling off some gear after the match, so even if you don't go home with the bear trophy you might bring back something cool. Peltor glasses, bore cleaner, and a compact cleaning kit are just a few of the items in the raffle. Sign up while theres still time.
