Height for bullseye

I just built the back stop for my 10 meter pistol basement range. It is adjustable in height in 2" increments.

I currently have it set for the bulls eye to be at my eye level. But if there is a specified standard I would rather set it to that height.

Does anyone know the specs?

The centre of the target should be 1.4m (+/- 50mm) above the level of the firing point.

Most of the target, range, 10m & 50m rules are in section 6 although you should also look at section 7 for other rifle rules and section 8 for other pistol rules.

I calculated (roughly) 4.7 feet. I should have written 4.7, but I wrote 4' 7".

I've had it at the right height all along.

You were actually correct at 4'7" (within an eighth of an inch) which is 55".

I can't see why hill987 was (seemingly) correcting you.

It's actually 1.4m (1400mm) - don't convert! - use metric
