At 50 yards I shoot better with an iris, at 25 yard and 10 meters with just regular prescription glasses I get the best results.
Is there a reason for this, or is it just a wrong perception on my part?!
With the iris at 50 yards all three planes, target/front/back sights, are in focus, at 25yards and 10 meters without the iris the bulls eye is a blur.
P.S. It only toke me one year to believe that I didn't have to see the bulls eye in perfect focus to score a ten, and that focusing on front sights while squeezing the trigger in a constant movement was the key. It "felt wrong" to do that for so long, but I finally jumped into that unknown head first and now understand it, thank you all for the persistence about that point.
Is there a difference from 50 to 25 meters shooting
