scatt prompting for drivers each reboot

Post by melchloboo »

This is probably more of a windows xp issue than the scatt, but every time I plug in the sensors windows prompts me for the drivers. I direct it to the drivers directory and everything is find after that. I am using the latest drivers downloaded from the scatt web site.

Its really just a 1 or 2 minute inconvenience every day, but figured I'd ask...its a 7 year old laptop.

Ensure you are plugging the target and barrel sensor's into exactly the same USB port everytime. If you swap them around into different USB ports it will become fussy and annoying.

Yes Like Martin said if you are in different USB ports it wants to reload the drivers. Or you can just plug them into all the ports load the drivers and then you don't have to worry about it.
