Paulo, The bottle says 'Dr. Phil Martins Black Star Waterproof India Ink'. The ink in the photo in the previous post says acyrlic ink which is a different kind. A small detail note the shade color indicator on the bottle says 'HICARB' not 'CARBON' like I mentioned in my previous post. The description on the bottle says '100% carbon black pigment'. It really does darken the sights!
It is manufactured by 'Salis International Inc.' Golden Colorado 80401
Here's a link to exactly what I have I found on the web.

Richard,
The bottle says specifically "CONTAINS NO VARNISH OR SHELLAC". I have been using it for two months now and am very pleased with how it is working. I have used carbide/sight blackener sprays/flat black permanent markers. This ink I mentioned I am using now does a really good job at darkening the sights! I have shot 30 years though not a world elite shooter I just shot a 566 at a NRA sectional. One point off my best.

Black Hair Spray
A cheap spray on black that works well as a sight black,
is black spray on hair spray from the chemist. It has a
lacquer so it sticks well and does not rub off easily.
After a dozen or so matchs, the build up can be cleaned
off with a little mineral thinners.
