fitting for daisy 888

This may be a long shot but, I am a pistol shooter and am going to a match this weekend. Someone there has a daisy 888 but no valve. I have some co2 air pistols and thought there might be a chance the adpaters would be compatible. Will an adapter from a pardini k60 fit the 888?

I don't know what the thread size is, but the major diameter of the threads on the 888 cylinder measures .802. Maybe someone else can give more specific info. The diagram is the adapter that Daisy sells, but it doesn't say Daisy or Avanti on it anywhere, so I'm guessing it's some standard.

It's a standard fitting for paint ball guns. I have limited experience with co2 pistols but the 3 or 4 I've seen over the years used a different fitting.
