Daisy 499 vs regular BB guns

I just bought a Daisy Avanti 499B but I find it noisier than a regular BB gun, like a Red Ryder for example. And also I feel that it vibrates more than a Red Ryder when I shoot. Other than that it works fine and very very accurate. Is this normal in the 499B? I'm thinking about contacting Daisy about it.

I'd call them up. They're pretty good to work with. I'd also try it out. It probably shoots 10's o.k. If not, then there may be a problem. They have a contact number on the internet.
