Target Timer

Post by Mass Shooter »

I have a elcheapo plastic digital countdown timer device I used when practicing "Timed-Fire" drills, but have watched a few B/E shooters use the "Target Timer" as offered at LGI or other resources. I've seen others use a MP3 player device as well to hear the line commands

Would you consider the Target Timer device a worthwile training investment? .... Just curious.

The pinnacle is a nice unit, but I get the same results with an old, cheap, MP3 player and downloaded range commands. Cost $0. Far far better than the timer as it allows you to practice cadence with the commands. I set my player on loop play and practice the entire 10 round sequence without having to remember to restart the player after the first string.

Check out targettimers, they work well and there are several different models. My club uses one to control our turning target banks and another club for its light system.

I use a small digital recorder I bought for about 30$ and downloaded the commands
it works well.
