I often visit and stay with friends in Texas and want my wife to mail me one of my own pistols to me here in Texas.
Who knows the rules on this, UPS to a Texas local FFL?

Easiest thing is take it with you. Second is UPS it to yourself.

I agree with GM, take it with you.
However, UPS usually requires overnight $$$$$$ shipment on firearms. USPS does not.

It is unlawful to mail a pistol via the U.S. Post Office, unless it is from a Federal Firearms License holder to another FFL.
