Kimber Manufacturing, Inc. to Present $75,000 Check to USA Shooting and the 2008 Olympic Medalists on Opening Day of 2009 SHOT Show

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - USA Shooting will receive a record setting contribution check in the amount of $75,000 from Kimber Manufacturing, Inc. at the opening day of the 2009 SHOT Show in Orlando, Florida, bringing Kimber's total contribution to the U.S. Shooting team to $675,000. Based on sales from the Kimber Team Match II Pistol, this is the largest contribution to USA Shooting by any firearm manufacturer in the shooting industry.

Kimber Manufacturing, Inc. will present the check to the six 2008 USA Shooting Olympic Medalists. The medalists include Vincent Hancock (Eatonton, Ga.) - gold, Men's Skeet; Glenn Eller (Katy, Texas) - gold, Men's Double Trap; Kim Rhode (El Monte, Calif.) - silver, Women's Skeet; Matt Emmons(Browns Mills, N.J.) - silver, Men's 50m Prone Rifle; Corey Cogdell (Eagle River, Alaska) - bronze, Women's Trap; Jason Turner (Rochester, N.Y.) - bronze, Men's 10m Air Rifle. Rhode is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist and bronze medalist in Women's Double Trap. Emmons is the 2004 Olympic gold medalist in Men's Prone.
