Here is what the Custom grip process at Rink looks like. Anything else they (and others) do is semi-custom grips which are a much better starting point than a standard OEM grip that only gives you a choice of size.

Had mine on 2 different grips for a year and a half - not going anywhere if applied over stippling. When over a smooth/polished surface - can fall off (same as epoxy)

There is only one true target that can do that easily and on a cheap - SQ10 from SportQuantum (postil or rifle, training specialty targets, 1 click scale from 3-15m, issf phase 1 approved and phase 2 in-progress, no consumables)
