Can I use compressed air in a co2 pistol

Post by xtreme »

If I buy a used co2 air pistol, can I use compressed air instead of co2.
Is it detrimental to the operation and accuarcy of the pistol.
May all your shots be "10's"

The simple answer is "NO". The working pressures are totally different and it would be dangerous.

Some high end pistols can be coverted from CO2 to air.

Because the international thread standards are different for CO2 and Compressed air, filling higly pressurized air into an CO2 cylinder cannot be done.
Sometimes a poolproof system pays off...

the Morini conversions will only fit the FWB Model 10, 20 and 25. They work fine, we have installed about 10 sets over the last few years
