Post by chrisjohn »

Grips are shifting! How do I shim them to stay tight? Thanks and take care,

I shimmed mine the same day I bought it. I pushed the handle forward then inserted a piece of plastic 25mm square from a clothing tag between the top of the handle and the bottom of the rear sight. Its solid now. I also had to adjust both sights as they were out of square.

Have done this using thin copper lining the casting where it fits into the grips. Can go into detail (or check previous post...about a year ago). Pistol is great and good enough now to put out on indefinite loan without fear of deficiencies. CraigE

Moving IZH46 grips

Post by Fred Mannis »

I used Brownells epoxy/fiberglass kit to bed the handles to the grip frame. Just the bottom 1 " of the grip frame is sufficient.
