CM84E Barrel weight

Post by Hairy Clipper »

I am very new to free pistol, i.e. I have yet to fire a shot and my pistol arrived three days ago. My CM84E has a barrel weight that I am assuming is movable. If this is not a correct assumption, please inform this poor novice before he tries something he might regret! Has anyone experimented with the position of this barrel weight vs group size? If so, what did you find out?

The foresight/weight unit has three mounting positions. You can also place the foresight blade on one of three mounting positions. Some people new to free pistol like to place the foresight at the position nearest the rear sight to reduce perceived movement so you can focus on a nice smooth trigger release. Later, as ability to hold and stability improve, the foresight can be moved forward as well as the housing if you wish.
Hope this is helpful and that you enjoy shooting the new free pistol.
