Bought one from Don Nygord a few weeks ago. This gun is everything it reports to be. Everyone has specific needs however if you want a great looking... well built..great shooting gun, with a very special feel at shot release...give it a close look.

Don, always takes great care of everything else associated with the purchase of any gun... not to mention he knows alittle something about shooting and always calls it like it is.

I have a p-30.
I see the p40 quite similar with p30, has the open barrel, has holes along the barrel.
I will adapt the counterbalances and I will leave it identical at p40.

P40 vs P30

To Nano.

There might be a slight resemblance between the M30 and M40 on the exterior. But these are two very different guns.
The trigger unit is different.
The P 40 has an absorber. The M 30 do not.
And so on.
There is a leap in tecnical evolution between these two guns.

The absorber system on the P40 is, well, the most effective such system I have experienced. The feel upon firing is amazingly stable.

Does it justify shelving a P30, or other gun, that is otherwise working well? That's a matter of individual taste. But the P40 is very impressive.
