Pellet used for competition

Would be interesting to see a thread where everyone lists the pellet choices they use for AP 10M competition. Probably best to keep the format simple:

-Brand (Vogel, Nygord, etc)
-Model (Finale, Special, etc)
-Weight/Diameter (6.6gr, 4.49, etc)

So my current selection:

Vogel
Match LP
.5 grams/4.48mm

Vogel Green, 4.49

What I use

Vogel, yellow, 4.50

That is, if I don't forget them and have to borrow some. :-)

Hi

It's nice somebody actually has Vogel's. Our team doesn't anymore. Somebody is out, don't know if it's Pilk, Champion's, or CC.

It is interesting to check out "High Noon" and see what equipment, including ammo and pellets that are being used by the top shooters.

Nygord 4.5 or 4.49 in a Pardini K60 or K58. Either size works well. As an alternative, the R10 Lite.

I use JSB blue tin.

Match air/CO2 guns would have to be tested from a fixture to find the most accurate brand (or lot) of pellet in a particular gun. There are often differences from one lot to the next with even the most costly brand of match pellets.

The grouping ability of match pellets from the well reputed manufactureres is sufficient for any "expert" pistol shooter, though. And the brand of match pellet has little bearing upon the score for most shooters. DonĀ“t worry too much about the accuracy of the pellet, worry more about your own skill (or lack of same?). That means: Exersice more, and worry less about the match pellet not beeng accurate enough for you.

With air RIFLE shooters, this is another story. Here, testing for accuracy is mandatory for the top shooters.
