I had a decent score/group with AP and decided to remove two
of the standard weights that come along with the LP10 a year
ago so that the strain on the hand is a little less. Slowly the
group size increased and having not realised my mistake kept
concentrating on technique.Used to have a lot of foresight movement
in backsight(sideways) and had to put in a lot of effort to keep
it still and never went past 92% scores at the home range.
Got sick with no yield and decided to put back both the weights
and suprised to find 5 shots in one big hole. Thought it was passing
luck and tried a couple of more cards, same results!
Can someone answer my question as to whether this is bad adding extra
weights,as all the National shooters here seem to keep their
APs as light as possibe? Is it a big strain in the longrun? Does it
really show in a full match of 60 shots?......... Thanks.

Re: Weights on AP
It's different for everyone ... seems like you should use them ... plus do some light shoulder strengthening exercises ... and work on your hand/wrist strength ... to keep the muzzle steadier. Tight Grip ... Tight Group. The extra weight is dampening the muzzle movement ... perhaps caused by a loose grip ...
