Hello, I'm considering purchasing an electronic target system available in Germany. I prefer to avoid the costly options like SIUS and Meyton since it will be for personal use.
After some research, I've narrowed it down to SETA and InBand (Finland). Have you had an opportunity to compare these two systems? Are they alike? Any advice you could provide?:)
Thanks a lot!
Regards

Re: SETA vs Inband electronic target
Martin, both options are comparable in accuracy. SETA appears to be more streamlined, while Inband offers the benefit of Bluetooth connectivity between the target and the laptop. This feature can be advantageous when power sources are near the targets, eliminating the need for cables between the target and stands. However, if a power source is unavailable close to the target, it won't make a difference whether you bring one cable or two.:) That's my opinion :)
But I am looking for any other's opinions :)

Re: SETA vs Inband electronic target
I took a look, and it appears that both systems are acoustic only, and require a roll of moving black backing paper to work properly. I've never investigated how universal the rolls of paper might be, and what they cost. Same thing with the masks. I've only shot on the SIUS hybrid system, which just requires the front masks.
I'm not sure how the prices compare, but I've been very intrigued by the Quantum SQ10 system, which has a very unique approach. No masks, no backing paper, and infinitely adjustable target "face."

Yeah would love to have it too. But the price is double vs seta/inband solutions. It is comparable more to the Meyton pricing.

I have an Inband and wrote a review about it here: https://www.olympicpistol.com/inband-ai ... et-review/

Re: SETA vs Inband electronic target
Do you know if it's possible to mount SETA Score 10 on a tripod or a stand?
Does Score 10 has the same gel stop as the Pro version, or is it a simple pellet trap?
Also, can you share the price of the two systems?

Re: SETA vs Inband electronic target
I think they are almost the same in terms of technology and pricing. Main difference:
Inband has Bluetooth technology, seta no.
Both have options for a 10m/50m rifle.
Seta has a bullet trap included with gel, inband no.
The Inband has its own LED, so you do not need additional light around. Seta does not have any LED included.
Inband is from Finland, SETA is from Germany
Both can be used for shorter distances, but the lowest recommended is 7m.
