Shooting Glasses Identification

Hi all! Can anyone identify these shooting glasses?

I've been asked to find these glasses since I guess I'm known at my club to be able to find items based off a couple pictures, but this one has me stumped. Any info is appreciated!

That’s what I thought too, but couldn’t find anything. I believe they’re somewhat popular among Korean shooters, but I can’t find anything outside of photos and blog posts from Korean optometrists having made prescription lenses.

Knowing it was korean seems to have been a big clue!

Searching for 'shooting glasses' (사격 안경) in Korean led me to a news article with a similar picture and a company called Clear Shield ( 클리어쉴드 )

It's not exactly the same but pretty close I'd say. The glasses are listed on their product page, but it seems like there's no 'shop' page and you must request a quotation.



I searched a little more and found this blogpost that has what I think is the exact glasses you posted, minus the branding:

From reading the auto-translated blog, it looks like the frame is from either 'IDEUN' or 'BULLSEYE' brand, modified by the glasses store in the blog to accept prescription lenses... A search for either brand (which is written in english in the blog) doesn't help, though so I'm stuck for the moment.

Neither post has anything about a company, if they're custom made, or even if they're a Korean National Team exlusive, which I kind of doubt since they've been seen at US shoots as well. I feel like at this point I've exhausted all of my usual online ways of searching, so I was hoping someone on the forum would have some info.

I'll actually be in Korea for school soon, so I'll search more in person if nothing else comes from the online forensics.

These look like the exact glasses that Oh Ye-Jin used in the Paris Olympics. That korean blog post was made in march of 2024, so it technically would line up.

I believe Yang Ji-in was also wearing them, but a version without the top bar. I’m starting to believe they’re a Korea only product, and maybe pretty exclusive to just the national team and their peers. Buuut there’s a picture of a shooter wearing them at Winter Airgun this past December that keeps messing with that conclusion.

Either way, I’ll definitely ask around when I’m in Seoul and update here if I find anything.
